Privacy Policy

TsuniFlip (“we”, “us”) is a travel passport app for stamping cities, mapping visits on your atlas, following fellow travelers, managing a wishlist, receiving alerts, and topping up travel coins for optional in-app features. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the device permissions we may request. By using the TsuniFlip app, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account & profile — display name, handle, optional avatar photo, and session status needed to use Me, Feed, and related screens.
• Travel content you create — visit stamps (city, country, date, mood, notes, coordinates you choose), wishlist pins, likes, saves, follows, blocked users, and report records stored for moderation.
• In-app purchases — product identifiers and purchase outcomes processed by Apple; coin balances and unlocks (such as atlas heat or passport foil) stored for your experience.
• Device & diagnostics — basic device identifiers, app version, and technical logs used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
• Attribution (if you allow tracking) — advertising or attribution identifiers used with partners such as Adjust / Facebook only after you respond to the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

We do not require continuous background GPS for the core stamp-and-map experience. Atlas pins reflect places you add or look up when you stamp a visit.

How we use information

We use this information to power Home / Feed, Map / Atlas, Alerts, Me, Wishlist, Discover, place lookup for stamps, report & block tools, coin shop purchases, and optional coin spends (pin Next Trip, unlock travel heat, passport foil, wax seal). We also use it to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve product quality.

Device permissions (four)

TsuniFlip may ask for the following iOS permissions. You can deny or revoke them in Settings; core browsing still works with reduced features.

• Camera — to take a photo for your TsuniFlip travel stamp / passport avatar (Me → Change photo). We do not use the camera for unrelated capture.
• Photo Library — to choose an existing image for your stamp-page avatar or upload. Access is limited to the images you select.
• Microphone — requested when the app needs audio recording for supported features. We do not use microphone access for silent background listening.
• App Tracking (ATT) — to deliver a more personalized experience and measure campaigns. Tracking identifiers are used only if you grant permission; you can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Purchases & payments

Coin packs are sold as Apple In-App Purchases. Payment details are handled by Apple; we do not receive your full card number. Purchase confirmation may be used to credit coins and unlock features you buy.

Sharing

• Apple — for StoreKit purchases and system services.
• Place lookup / geocoding — city search text you enter may be sent to a lookup provider to return coordinates for stamps.
• Analytics / attribution partners — only as needed to operate the app and only within the limits of your ATT choice and applicable law.
• Other users — content you keep public (for example profile or feed activity) may be visible to others; private stamps and blocked users follow your settings.

We do not sell your personal information.

Storage, retention & deletion

Some Review / on-device data (name, avatar filename, visits, likes, coin balance, unlocks) is stored locally on your device. You can leave the session or delete your account from Settings, which clears local profile, visits, and related data. Contact us if you need help with deletion or a copy of your data. We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law.

Children

TsuniFlip is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required where you live). We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
